Buying Bed Accessories from Sleep Store USA

Sleep Store USA is the best bed store, hands down. And it’s more than just a factor of having the most mattresses. It’s also about having the greatest variety of accessories for the bedroom as well.

And what we mean by that is things like pillows and sheets and comforters and such like that. Things that you take for granted in the bedroom that can really make a huge difference in how restful you find the place.

For instance, we talk an awful lot about the mattresses and their centrality when it comes to your sleep experience. And that’s not untrue. At the same time, though, we don’t want to downplay the importance of other things like pillows and clean sheets and such.

Pillows for example, can wear down just like mattresses can. They’re bearing the weight of your head on a regular basis, and they can flatten or go stiff just like a mattress can.

You can have a perfectly comfortable mattress, but a bad pillow can still contribute to things like a stiff neck and an inability to find comfort and just fall asleep.

Sleep Store USA understands that a good pillow is vital for sleep, so we sell a lot of different kinds for everyone based on how they sleep. And we devote ourselves to providing that same variety for other accessories as well.

What are Hospital Beds?

We tend not to think so much about hospital beds, about what exactly they are or why exactly they are adjustable. If we do think about their adjustable nature, we tend to rationalize it as having to do with treatment, and then we let it go, because something like that simply can’t be comfortable.

What we fail to take into account when it comes to hospital beds is that they are the way they are for a specific reason.

It’s more than just being able to treat patients better. There’s another reason for that as well.

Adjustable beds are known for the delivery of comfort via ergonomics. That is, they make you comfortable in terms of how they make your body adjust to different positions. Your posture is changed, and that changes the pressure as you feel it on your spine.

For people who can’t get comfortable on a regular bed, that difference can be significant.

The Advantage of Foam Mattresses

Most of the time, when you’re talking about mattresses, most people will say that they’re comfortable with what they have. That’s probably because, whether they’re actually comfrotable with it or not, they’ve become accustomed to it: the firmness or the softness of it. They’ve probably resigned themselves to the thought that they can’t be made more comfortable than they are, and that there’s nothing to be done for it.

And in some cases that is undoubtedly true. But there are a lot of cases where the sleepers haven’t heard about the benefits of a foam mattress.

Sleeping on a foam mattress is a totally different experience from sleeping on an innerspring mattress. Innerspring mattresses are essentially mattresses comprised of supporting parts and empty spaces in between. The springs are responsible for giving your body support, keeping your spine in the proper alignment and making you comfortable.

Of course, that’s in theory. In practice, it doesn’t always work that way. What’s more likely to happen is that you put more weight in one place than in another, thus throwing your body’s alignment out of whack.

That is not the case with a foam mattress. Foam mattresses in general tend to function more as a cohesive whole - meaning that there are no gaps in the coverage that is being offered to your body. When you sink into the foam, it contours itself to the shape of your body, thus preserving the natural state of your alignment.

This holds true not just for people who sleep on their backs, but also those who sleep on their sides. Needless to say, this presents a distinct advantage, and it’s part of the reason for the rise of foam mattress popularity.
