How To Read In Bed

You may think that reading in bed is a great thing to do for sleep. Yes it can be, but only if done properly. Otherwise, you will be making it much more difficult to fall asleep easily and regularly. Here are three tips to ensure that you read in bed properly:

  1. Only read. Turn off the tv and other background distractions. Believe it or not, they will take up most of your time that should be spent reading and getting into a sleepy mode.
  2. Set your limits. How many pages or a whole chapter? It really just depends on you and your comfort level. Make it a routine number of pages and it will be easy.
  3. Repeat. Do not read every so often. Make it a point to do it often and repeatable. You must do so, if not it will not stick.

3 Tips to Sleep Well in the Winter

Sleeping in the winter can be a cold and uncomfortable ordeal. This can be particularly true if your house doesn’t hold in heat so well. Fortunately, there are some ways around it.

  1. Bulk up. Don’t wear flimsy nothings to bed. Wear flannel pajamas, to keep the heat near your body, or sleep in sweat-clothes for added warmth.. For that matter...
  2. Use flannel sheets. They’re soft, comfortable, and they keep the heat really well. Meaning that you can keep the bed warmer more easily.
  3. Shower before bed. It will warm your body temperature up, as well as to help you relax.

We love receiving questions from our website visitors. We recently asked our blog readers to ask us any questions they had regarding mattresses. We received more than two hundred questions and attempted to reply back to each one with a concise answer. We have also taken the top three commonly asked questions for your convenience:

  1. How do I get a great mattress? Visit a Sleep Store USA and speak to a sales associate. Let them know about your current sleep troubles, medical conditions, etc. They will be more than happy to help you.
  2. What should I expect to pay? This was a very common question. Unfortunately there is no flat answer. It depends greatly on mattress size, comfort level, warranty plans, etc.
  3. What should I look for in a mattress? If your current mattress is giving you poor sleep, then you need to find a mattress that is truly comfortable and will help you get back into a regular sleep schedule.
